A new purpose for the iphone

*Warning* The content you are about to see may not be suitable for all ages. Viewers discretion is advised. Ok, just kidding but it is pretty funny.

We need to explain this one so here it is. After I finished one of my work calls I notice that I hear daddy's voice, Cyri's giggling and a little cartoon coming from the bathroom. I proceed with caution, a little worried of what I might find and my worst fears were confirmed. Cyri has honed in on her survival skills and figured out when and where daddy's weakest and immobile moment is and was taking full advantage. What child must be so deprived of attention that she would subject herself to these conditions for a little one on one me time? She just climbed up and plombed herself down and daddy was left with no choice but to entertain her while taking care of biz. I think he might have kicked her out if I wasn't working but he was afraid she'd throw a fit and scream and my clients would hear it over the phone. If this doesn't win Andrew the "most dedicated" father of the year award...I don't know what will. Bless your heart babe, I love you. Happy be-lated father's day.

P.S. and to all those wives out there- go ahead and get him that iphone he's been begging for. You never know when it will come in handy.

A taste of Girl Scouts

With 3 girls I guess the inevitable has happened. Girl Scouts. This year we signed the girls up for Girl Scouts summer camp and they loved it. It's not official until they are assigned into troops in the fall. The price alone was a killer deal. We paid $25 bucks a child and $24 went towards official Girl Scout registration so one whole week of camp only cost a buck! How cool is that right?
The only thing I don't look forward to are those cookie sales. I hate having to buy over priced cookies from pitiful little girls but they just look so tired and the parents are on the side walk hoping and praying that you will give them a sale so they can be done with it too. Oh, now I will be that parent with that pitiful child, woe is moi.

Ft. Benning Infantry Museum

I was throughly amazed at how well put together this museum was and that it is completely free. The movies are very creative for every era of war. There is a movie in a helicopter, there is a movie on the ceiling inside a parachute, there's movies on the side of rocks and hills. I can't do it justice, I can only say that if family comes we will have to go again. They also have real soilder uniforms from every war on display along with weapons and detailed history. It really makes you leave with a sense of patriotsm and respect for those that have served and are currently serving.
Anaiya had her own gun too but when she started hearing the gunshots she just about lost it and daddy had to help her finish her round. She refused to even pick up her rifle to pose for a picture. I guess we have a lover and not a fighter in this one. Trinity and I on the other hand were just trigger happy!

Notice the difference a promise of ice cream will do....before ice cream.
After a promise of ice cream --if she smiled!
Hooah!!!!

Bollywood all the way

Ok, the girls got the idea that they wanted to do a Bollywood themed movie and before I knew it-I was sucked in. They had dressed themselves up so cute after raiding my closet, jewlery and makeup so I couldn't resist. I am fully responsible for these poses. There are video clips of them dancing too but I'll have to get them from Andrew's camera.

Birthday Boys

Happy 35th birthday!!! To start off the birthday spirit the girls let daddy know just how much they still loved their old man.

Since Andrew isn't a big fan of cake we made him his favorite pie, banana cream.

As for presents, daddy bought himself a holster for his gun and he finally got a chance to go to the shooting range and shoot his gun he got for Christmas for the first time. He said he loved the way it shoots and feels. Good thing cause if he didn't there's not much we could do about it now. Daddy also got an awesome watch from walmart. Yes, we are classy!
And since Jax was born sometime in June 09 we decided to celebrate Jax's birthday too. Happy 1 year old birthday to Jax.

Jax & mama.

Exhausted baby

Life as a baby is exhausting work...
Her stuffed animal doesn't seem to have a say in the matter of how tightly he'd like to be hugged or strangled.

Can we say addict???

Need I explain any further???? A sane person would say it's raining so I'll bike tomorrow but not work-out junkies. He even needed to wear the full spandex outfit! This is funny to me, anyone else laughing?
Cyri on the other hand wasn't feeling it. Maybe it was because she doesn't have on the right attire? Also, can anyone explain to me why he is wearing his highly refective safety belt when he is biking in the house??? Hmmmm? 50 bucks for 1st person to come up with a sane answer!

Cyri's pearly whites

Considering how strong willed she is about everything else in her life we thought she wouldput up a real stink when it came to brushing her teeth but she was quite patient and even seemed to enjoy it. As you will see in the video she even wanted to do it again herself and she liked her toothbrush so much that she carried it around for a while as shown in exhibit #4.

"I can only take so much people!"
Exhibit #4-"Gots all I need-my daddy and my toothbrush!"

Trinity's first Activities Day talent show

Trinity was so nervous to perform but she had been practicing for over a month so I knew she would do great! Trinity was extra happy that day because she didn't know if daddy would be able to make it home on time from work but he did. We were trully so proud of her. I know most of this stuff is probably repeat from Facebook but our blog is kinda my journal so here it is again.

Cyri part two

Don't let the last post fool you into thinking she's all naughty and no sass. She got a hold of Trinity's church heels and knew exactly what to do with them and then she proceeds to bring me the hair curlers to put in her hair. What can I say, I've trained them well.

It's hilarious that she even knows where her toes go in the heel!

What to do with this one?

Since Andrew is always blaming me for their girly ways I'll blame him for all this naughty-ness! I just don't know what goes through her head. If this child is ever pausing for a moment it's just cause she's figuring out what to break next or climb on. I know the grandma's are gasping in fear and horror but this is really a daily occurance for us. Thankfully she's hasn't fallen and bonked her head or injured herself....Yet! I'm just waiting for the day I hear that cry of death and make our first ER visit. We will be sure to document that too.

Looking for the right opportunity to make a soft jail break.

More rock climbing

Free, cheap family fun!

"Success!" she even strikes a pose at the top.
Daddy reassuring Anaiya that she'll be okay and he won't let her fall.
Now that she's back on the ground she's happy.
"What the heck did I sign up for?"
